About Diz

So yeah. I am a 14 year old guy living in Amishville, Midwestern United States.

I live in a family of four, my two parents and my little sister, who is currently 12.

I have been thinking about making a website for a very long time but never got around to it so, obviously, this is my first website (the second version of that site and my second host but still Ditto's Docks). I used to play Neopets, (That’s where I became interested and familiar with HTML) but since Neopets was gay boring and geared more for younger children, I left. Then, at a small science camp, some of the people I met there started talking about a game called 'Runescape.' That night, I scoped out the site, and joined, fudging my age (I was only 10-ish). I played Runescape for quite a while, eventually ending up with about 4 accounts. And then all my stuff got stolen when I tried to transfer items (which is against the rules by the way) so I kinda lost my will to play the game. And then, a great thing happened. One of the weirder kids in my school was visiting a Pokemon website, TRS Rockin, and he was reading the 'How to sprite' section. Strangely, the kid was spriting with the Sugimori art of Dialga (this was 6th grade, and I am now in 8th) I got the website URL from him and, by following a link from that spriting guide, I found TCoD. I hung out there for a while, visiting some of Butterfree's affiliates and got enough courage (and knowledge) to make a web site. I had been getting books on HTML from the library for ages, so I already knew what to do. I found Freewebs from a link on somebody's 'Website tips' pages, and that’s where I was hosted. I used the stretching DIV layout provided by Butterfree, and that’s how the stone falls. (Originaly, the site was Entei themed; it had a red-maroon background and yellow-ish font color. That idea really failed, and then I got the idea of a Ditto themed website. It was the strange blue color of a Shiny Ditto, with black font.) Eventually, I finalized on a very dark black and pink (Emerald Ditto?) layout. I got fed up with the sloppiness of the place, and put the site on a very short, three day hiatus, while I coded a new layout from the tutorial provided by Eonlight Valley. So here we are. What was I talking about again? Oh yeah, me. XD

I love to read. My favorite books are the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer, the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, and The Harry Potter books by J. K. Rowling. But I also like the Keys to The Kingdom book series by Garth Nix, The Maximum Ride series by James Patterson (though the last one kinda ended weirdly-just like that sentence), The Pendragon books by D. J. McHale, and pretty much all other books in the fantasy section of your local library. Unless you're in my town, when the fantasy section is comprised of two shelves and around 50 books. (That's exaggeration by the way; it's really made up of 5 shelves and about 150 books.)

I am very talented in music, and I also love the arts (in fact, my user account picture on my laptop is a really cool looking bass clef). I have to take High School band at home next year, since Jazz band and an Art class fill up my schedule. I really used to be into classical music, but my interests have spread out into alternate rock, like Nickleback, Linkin Park, and Santanna, to name a few of my favorite artists. I also really like Rob Thomas, Street Corner Symphony.

My favorite movies are the action-y ones and Comedies. Especially Action Comedies. ('Get Smart' for he win!) I also like Sean Connery, he is my favorite (male) actor. My favorite female actor is tied between Amanda Bynes and Emma Watson.
